An illustrated storybook world

Green
Meadows.

Follow a little path.

Into the woods, around the brook, past the old orchard. A quiet world to explore, with woodland friends and little discoveries along the way.

A closer look

A little curiosity goes a long way.

Start with the whole landscape, then zoom into the places tucked inside it. A patch of forest becomes a path, then a clearing where Peter Rabbit and Prickly Porky are waiting.

Say hello, look inside a hollow log, or watch the water beside the bank. There’s no score to chase and no timer telling you to hurry.

Drag to wander, scroll or pinch to zoom, or use the buttons and keyboard controls. An illustrated guide offers another way to look around.

About the project

Old stories.
New paths.

I’m building Green Meadows around the characters of Thornton W. Burgess, with the early illustrations of Harrison Cady as a visual reference. The aim is a place you can wander through, rather than just a story you turn the pages of.

The scenes, encounters and dialogue are new adaptations. The artwork is new and AI-assisted, developed with consistent character designs and references to the earlier books. These aren’t original Burgess passages or Cady illustrations.
